january 1, 2019 Lake Arrowhead Community Club MEMBERS, Another good year for the lake is coming to a close. We would like to thank everyone who had a part in it. Your newly elected volunteer board is already hard at work on how this year will be shaping up. As we all know being lot owners we belong to a Home Owner Association with expectations of the policies and covenants to be followed that were put into place when Lake Arrowhead was established as such. There are some that feel they do not have to follow these policies and covenants, others realize the importance of these written guidelines and how without them we would not have a safe and long term appreciation of our investments. For example, The dump station is a convenience not a full time amenity it is for weekend and short term stay it was never designed for full time residence use. See below: • Anyone living at LACC will have a permitted designed sanitation (covenant #14). This will mean a permit for all work done will be necessary. • A septic designed system approved by Mason County • A holding tank system with pump out schedule approved by Mason County • No trailers/campers/vans or sheds for full time use without a design system approved by Mason County • No use of blue totes or Sani - cans for full time residence • Some type of garbage service will also be required Covenant #12 • Rentals fall under the same requirements Renters also do not have use of any club property. For anyone in the process of selling there lot at LACC will have to have a written contract that shows the tax payer on the sale of the property to use club grounds. All properties in violations of building permits, sanitation will be put on notice and your code to showers removed as well as use of club property. Club property is for LACC members in good standings ONLY. Some might think this is a bit harsh. But let’s take a good look back at the past years when your club has given many warnings to the people to only be ignored. It’s now time to step up and do what is the right thing and fix your problems and do not worry about what someone else is doing or not doing. If everyone takes care of their own lot and follows the covenants then it will get better for everyone. We will have another great year at the lake. Respectfully, LACC Board of Directors
